Remember James Inhofe, global warming denialist extraordinaire? Well, everybody ought to read Dana Milbank's sad account from a few days back of Inhofe's increasing marginalization, even among his GOP peers--and of his increasing shrillness as this occurs. Given his track record, at this point it seems unlikely that Inhofe will ever admit that global warming is real and human caused. But with this intransigence, he is certainly threatening his own legacy and how he is remembered.Milbank's words capture it well: "It must be very lonely being the last flat-earther...." His whole piece can be read here.
