This Saturday, September 13th, I'll be at the Cincinnati Observatory in Ohio to participate in their annual SCOPE OUT event. I'll be giving my Bad Astronomy talk -- standing eggs on end and making fun of bad movies -- from 6-8 p.m. as part of a dinner, and during the day there will be lots of astronomy activities for kids and adults. The whole schmeer goes from noon to 10:30 p.m., so there's plenty of time to have fun and learn about the sky. It's open admission for the day, but for the dinner and talk you'll need to make a reservation. I hope to see Ohioan BABloggees there!
