Does it really matter which glass you choose for your beer? In this study, scientists from England tested the effect of glass shape on alcohol consumption. Turns out that a curved glass made people drink 60% faster than a straight glass, but only for beer (not soft drinks). This effect could be due to the fact that people were worse at judging the halfway point of the curved glass compared to the straight one.
