Spend Some Time with Maps of Volcanoes

Busy day for me today, but I wanted to point everyone to a great new gallery put together by Betsy Mason here at Wired Science. It contains 11 stunning geologic maps of volcanoes from another the world - with links to to webcams and other information on the volcanoes. Really, if you want to kill a some time, these maps are fascinating and reinforce the fact that volcanoes are built by eruption upon eruption, some large and some small. It also shows that many geologic maps are close to being works of art that brings along the geologic history of a volcano.
