Once again, I will embarrass my coauthor/coblogger: In a really amazing post here, David Wescott provides a list of "female role models," and guess who appears? Of course this is no surprise to me, or to Intersection readers. Sheril is only at the beginning of a career in which she will serve as a positive example for many, but especially young girls interested in science, and young scientists who want to leave the beaten path and try something very different--reaching the public.
