The fall semester begins this week here at Denison and I am on leave for the next few months. Now, that might make it seem like I'm going to have more free time, but alas no, I need to devote a lot of those leave hours to writing a couple publications to submit for review before the end of the semester. The upshot is that for the semester, I will likely only be posting new articles on the blog twice a week - that is, unless some new eruption of note happens around the world. I will throw in my 2 cents in the comments and will try to spread some of the lesser volcanic news via the Eruptions Twitter feed (@eruptionsblog - remember, you don't need to be signed up for Twitter to read the feed or check out the feed on the right rail of this blog). Once I get some of this writing for research done, the frequency of posts may kick up (or if I need a break from all the academic writing), but duty calls during this leave semester.
