A snow-capped Mauna Kea. Image: Joeannenah / Flickr. It is that time of year again -- time for the Eruptions holiday break. We're hosting Christmas this year, so I will be quite occupied for the next week. When I get back to posting after December 29, I'll be summing up the year in volcanism leading up to the 2013 Pliny for Volcanic Event of the Year (keep the votes coming!) Until then (and unless something big happens), I hope you all enjoy the holidays.
