Of these images, photographer Cedric Delsaux writes: “A single planet will not be sufficient to satisfy our ambitions. Our eyes are bigger than the Earth.” Cedric Delsaux was invited by Oliver Bourgeois, producer of the documentary film "Nous Resterons sur Terre/Here to Stay" to accompany the film crew on location. Bourgeois gave Delsaux free reign, allowing him to work by his own rules. The result as seen in the recent monograph “A Common Destiny” is startlingly beautiful and chilling. Cedric Delsaux’s exhibition of detailed photographs can be seen in person March 11th- May 8th, 2010 at Bonni Benrubi gallery in NYC. All images from “A Common Destiny”, Courtesy Monacelli Press.
