My latest Point of Inquiry episode, with George Lakoff, just went up. I don't think Lakoff needs any introduction to readers of this blog--so let me just tell you what the show covered. We talked about science. We talked about religion--and the role of both on left and right. We talked about Lakoff's views of how the metaphors we learn as children determine how we think the society should be governed, and divide us politically. Most of all, we talked about how liberals (and too often, scientists!) are stuck in the old 18th century Enlightenment, which failed to properly understand the human mind. You can listen to the full show here.
