I was amused the other day to get a message on Twitter that basically said the writer was surprised I was on Facebook. Um. If I'm on Twitter, why be surprised that I use other social nets? Still and all, there I am. I don't use Facebook much, as I find it an irritating way to talk to people. MySpace is far, far worse, with a signal-to-noise that I swear is actually negative. But if you want to find me on the socnets, then here I am on twitter, here on Facebook, and here on MySpace. I don't use any others; LinkedIn doesn't suit my needs, and all FriendFeed seems to do is send me duplicate notices from Twitter and Facebook. If you have suggestions, I'm all ears, and I have a comment section below. And if you're looking for scientists on Twitter, ScienceBase listed 100 of them recently. Lots of good stuff there!
