posted by Sheril R. Kirshenbaum Back soon with the review of Capitol Hill Oceans Week (CHOW), but in the mean time, a suggestion to keep you out of the heat.. At the moment, I'm still in the District where I happened upon Cosmic Collisions at the Air and Space Museum. A friend and I ducked into the planetarium to retreat from the hot soup that is June in the city. I'd heard about this phenomenal show in NY and was not dissappointed. Amazing visuals and a great story.. not just for Trekkies either - a must for anyone within biking distance. It's a great way to get out of the summer humidity and will bring out the space geek in everyone. You even get a glimpse of the Milky Way and Andromeda galxies colliding in a few billion years (and it's my hope that by then Paris Hilton's antics won't be making prime time news). Like Levar Burton, "you don't have to take my word for it," but for anyone tiring of sci-fi films with sub-par CGI graphics, you'll be re-energized after just 23 minutes under the stars narrated by Robert Redford.
