UPDATE: The Shuttle launch has been delayed until Saturday, September 9 at 08:14 Pacific time due to a problem in a fuel sensor. The Space Shuttle Atlantis, after a weather delay from Ernesto, has been quite suddenly set for launch Friday morning at 08:41 Pacific time. This was announced around dinner time for me, so this really is very sudden! For more information, go to NASA's main Shuttle page.
