I attended Gnomedex in August, a meeting about how tech affects people, which is run by my old friend Chris Pirillo. I talked about skepticism: the process, the movement, and how to do it online. My speaking rep Beth Martin Quittman recorded the talk, and she just posted Part 1, where I discussed just what skepticism is. The audio quality is a little rocky due to it being a big echoey room, but you can hear most of what I'm saying. That was a fun talk, and one I expect I'll be giving again as time goes on. I'm really gung-ho about talking to people about skepticism and critical thinking, and I think it's something that needs to be done.
