I'm just sayin'. Actually, I'll be more explicit: whatever your thoughts are on what happened Tuesday here in the States, a lot of anti-science people are gone. I'm especially happy (though not at all surprised) to see Rick Santorum go. He tried to ram Intelligent Design legislation into the No Child Left Behind Act. It failed, but was still used as a template for local legislators to push that garbage into the curriculum for kids. To me, that's child abuse, and I don't think that's an exaggeration. But he's gone, as are so many of his ilk. Now let's see how these new Democrats do as far as science is concerned. I'll be watching.
